Formal thank you to gangsta rap.
It's a little off the politics subject, but it does make social points.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank gangsta rap for doing so much good to society. The way you desensitize children to the suffering of the weak is inspiring. How would we ever get by if you had not come along and reduced the value of a life to the money it takes to buy the bullet? I would also like to thank them for devaluing women, gays and anyone that's different than them. Thank you gangsta rap, you have inspired many young lives to be more socially conscious, to care more about the world around them, to make a difference. Of course you would never attempt to change my generation into unthinking thugs, (by the way, thug is bad). Apparently you thought you'd do a little more good by making thousands of suburban kids actually WANT to live in a slum and deal drugs. Thanks to you, our heroes are no longer Nathan Hale or George Washington, but are so-called "martyrs" for their cause such as 2pac. I thank you for that, how would we ever get by without you?
