For what is freedom?
Will we never be truly independent?
They tell us that we have our liberties
But then turn around and take them away

They never see their own hypocrisy
If they saw themselves as they really are
As vultures, picking the flesh from our “American dreams”
Taking away the freedoms they claim to protect

The system is brokenThe voting is rigged
Incumbents don’t fall
Even though the corruption continues to grow

They’re bought out by lobbyists
Activists pull their strings
While our freedoms still shrink
Unless you’re the protected group

Is this the world, our founders envisioned?A place where the protected minority rains tyranny on the majority?
On that day, could they have seen?
How much our freedoms would have been violated?

We can take this country back
From the negative utopia that has enveloped us
But we must not give an inch
They have their foot in the door
So we must slam it shut!
